Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Groover Hill of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Byers Hill, to Sario Joseph Caradonna III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sario Joseph Caradonna Jr. of Madison, Mississippi.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker P. Hill Jr. of Statesboro, Mrs. Ralph Carl Byers of Charleston, South Carolina, and the late Mr. Ralph Carl Byers. Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Statesboro High School and attended the University of Mississippi. She is employed as physician manager for Carolina Eye Care in Charleston.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sario Caradonna of Sicily, Italy, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Anderson Knight of Collins, Mississippi. Joseph is a 2008 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received a bachelor's degree in business management. He is employed as general manager for Caviar & Bananas in Charleston.

The wedding will take place in Asheville, North Carolina, on September 24, 2016.
