Mr. and Mrs. John Terrell Sisson

    Lisa Lanier Hagan and John Terrell Sisson were united in marriage on
June 8, 2013, at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Church in the Wildwood, TMT Farm, Statesboro. Dr. John Waters of First Baptist Church, Statesboro, officiated.
    The ceremony music was provided by violinist Dr. Jonathan Aceto.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel C. Hagan of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Hagan Sr. of Statesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Pease Sr. of Statesboro.
    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey G. Sisson of Washington, Ga. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Ray of Raytown, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Sisson of Washington, Ga.
    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory A-line lace strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. A blush satin sash with a jewel broach accented the gown. She wore a fingertip veil accented with crystals. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of green hydrangeas, white akito roses and garden spray roses. The bouquet was wrapped with burlap ribbon with a monogrammed overlay.
    Susan Hagan Patrick of Greenville, S.C., sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. She wore a navy halter ruffle neck silk taffeta dress. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of green hydrangeas and white roses wrapped with burlap ribbon.
    Mickey G. Sisson of Washington, Ga., father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were W.E. Burdette and Myles Dawson of Washington, Ga., and Phillip Hagan of Statesboro, brother of the bride.
    Mallory and Madison Powell of Washington, Ga., nieces of the groom, greeted guests and handed out programs.
    Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Livery Stable at TMT Farm.
    Lisa and John honeymooned in Nassau, Bahamas, and now reside in Washington, Ga.
