Mike and Johnna Thomas and Bunny and Pam Grantham of Jesup, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Grantham, to Casey Kicklighter, son of Cliff and Dianne Kicklighter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Florence McGlamery and the late Johnny McGlamery, Mrs. Mae Dunham and the late Ella Jane Shaffer. Whitney is a graduate of Wayne County High School and Georgia Southern University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently a first-grade teacher at James E. Bacon Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bobby and Lucy Kicklighter and the late Mary Kicklighter and Charles and Elouise Beaver. Casey is a graduate of Wayne County High School and Valdosta State University with a degree in biology. He is currently employed at Rayonier Advanced Materials.

The couple has planned to wed on October 8, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Altamaha Baptist Church in Jesup.
