Ross Brandon Waters and Emily Brooke Cressell are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Emily is the daughter of Robert Wayne Cressell Jr. and the late Monica Dawn Cressell and is the stepdaughter of Renee' White Cressell, all of Brooklet, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Jackie and Voncile Taylor of Tifton, Ga., and the late Robert Wayne Cressell Sr. and the late Wanda Smith of Virginia. Emily is the step-granddaughter of Rose Marie Bargeron of Brooklet. She is a 2012 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and will graduate from the dental assisting program at Ogeechee Technical College in May 2016.

Ross is the son of Adam and Cynthia Smith Waters of Statesboro, Ga. He is the grandson of Sue Lynch Smith and the late Tom "Doc" Smith and Shirley Walters Waters and the late Hal Coleman Waters, all of Statesboro. Ross is a 2009 graduate of Statesboro High School and received his Bachelor of Business Management from Georgia Southern University in 2015. Ross is employed at Statesboro Transfer and Storage as vice president of operations.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Statesboro First Baptist Church.
