Mr. and Mrs. Ross Brandon Waters

Emily Brooke Cressell of Brooklet and Ross Brandon Waters of Statesboro were united in marriage at 6 o'clock in the evening on Sept. 24, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Statesboro. Dr. John Waters officiated the ceremony.

Music was provided by Tiffany Mize and Rhon Carter.

A reception was held at the Belle House in Statesboro.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Cressell of Brooklet and the late Monica Dawn Cressell. She is the granddaughter of Jackie and Voncile Taylor of Tifton and the late Robert Cressell Sr. and the late Wanda Smith of Radford, Virginia.

The groom is the son of Adam and Cynthia Smith Waters of Statesboro. He is the grandson of Sue Smith and the late Tom "Doc" Smith and Shirley Waters and the late Hal C. Waters, both of Statesboro.

The maid of honor was Collette DeLong and the best man was the groom's father, Adam Waters. The flower girls were Kaylie and Kahlie Hutchinson. Aidyn Harris, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an all-over lace fit and flare wedding gown featuring sparkling diamante beading throughout and lace covered straps on the shoulder, complimented by a 3/4-length veil trimmed in lace. The bride carried a multi-colored bouquet repeating the colors of the pair of exceptionally large flower arrangements and the central, circular stained-glass window of the church.

Following their wedding, the couple honeymooned in the Caribbean.

The couple resides in Statesboro, where the groom is employed at Statesboro Transfer and Storage as vice president of operations, and the bride is a dental assistant at Thomas Dental Center in Statesboro.
