Mr. and Mrs. Wesley John Powell

Cobie Allison Crapps of Springfield, Ga., became the bride of Wesley John Powell of Statesboro, Ga., during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony held at Bethel Lutheran Church in Springfield on November 7, 2015. The Rev. Dr. Robert LeFavi officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Douglas Crapps of Springfield. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Grady Crapps and the late Mr. and Mrs. Angus Clinton Zittrouer.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lee Powell Jr. of Statesboro. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Jones Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lee Powell Sr.

Given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Douglas Crapps, the bride chose Casie Deanne Crapps to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Kibler Colson, Ashley Ann Conner and Jessie Lee Cowart. Junior bridesmaids were Susanna Hays Polk, Mary McRae Powell and Emme Kathleen Powell. Cali Jewell Long was the flower girl.

Mr. Herbert Lee Powell served as best man. Groomsmen were Mitchell Edward Hill, Jeremy Keith Marsh, Bradford Lee Powell, Jeffery Sutton Powell and Russell Jordan Taulbee. Robert John McNeil V served as ring bearer.

Adam Wyatt Heidt, Shawn David Lockhart, Chadwick Ryan Zittrouer and Blake Norwood Zittrouer were ushers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Springhill Suites in Statesboro.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and now resides in Statesboro.
