Together with their families, Lyndsay Rebecca Brackin of Hagan, Ga., and Zachary Stephen Deal of Statesboro, Ga., announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Marianne Brackin of Flora, Miss., and the late Bobby Brackin of Glennville, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Becky Brackin and the late Gene Brackin of Glennville and Irene Street and the late David Street of Flora. Lyndsay is a 2011 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in sociology at Georgia Southern University.

The groom-elect is the son of Steve and Roxanne Deal of Statesboro. He is the grandson of Jewel and the late Morgan Deal of Statesboro and Bill and Norma Smith of Gainesville, Ga. Zachary is a 2007 graduate of Statesboro High School and is an electrical estimator for Ace Electric, Inc., in Statesboro.

The couple is planning to wed on June 4, 2016, at 6:30 in the evening at Indian Hill Farm, home of the groom's parents, with the reception to follow at The Barn at Olde Homeplace, Statesboro.
