Ansley Katherine Bird and Kameron Trent Tatum

Kay Franklin Miller of Metter announces the engagement of her daughter, Ansley Katherine Bird of Metter, to Kameron Trent Tatum of Reidsville, son of Kim Youngblood Tatum and Kennon Trent Tatum of Reidsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sandra Tindol Franklin of Metter and the late William James "Jimmy" Franklin and Elsie Bird Norris of Metter and the late Kermit Bird. Ansley is a 2010 honor graduate of Metter High School and graduated in 2014 from Southeastern Technical College with an associate of dental hygiene degree. She is currently employed as a registered dental hygienist at Dr. Ricky Lane's office in Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Karen Dunham Youngblood of Reidsville and the late James Kenneth Youngblood and Lyndal Thomas Tatum of Reidsville and the late Kennon Tatum. His great-grandmother is Evelyn Dunham of Jesup. Kameron is a 2010 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy and graduated in 2015 from Southeastern Technical College with an associate of forest technology degree. He is currently employed with The Georgia-Alabama Land Trust located at Fort Stewart Military Reservation in Hinesville.

The wedding has been planned for April 22, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Metter United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at Dutch Ford Farm in Excelsior.

No invitations will be sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
