Leesa Dwin Akins and Roger Lee Flora

    Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Eugene Akins of Stilson, formerly of Statesboro, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Leesa Dwin, to Mr. Roger Lee Flora, both of Atlanta, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lee Flora of Sun City Center, Fla.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Clinton Lee of Stilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Leahmon Akins of the Akins Community in Brooklet.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Freida Louise Bell and the late Mr. Robert Miller Bell of Sedalia, Ind., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Reid Flora of Rossville, Ind.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Wesleyan College, where she received a bachelor's degree in business administration, and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where she received a Juris Doctor. Ms. Akins is a licensed corporate attorney.
    The groom-elect is a graduate of Purdue University, where he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology. Mr. Flora is a senior packaging engineer with Technical Associates.
    The couple became engaged on July 4, 2013, in Paris, France.
    The wedding will be held on March 8, 2014, in the Kellett Chapel of Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
