Mr. and Mrs. Danny Tremble of Brooklet are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Sherrel Tremble, to Orrin Michael Hamer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Veronica Hamer of Orlando, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Sherry Aviles of Richmond, Va.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Annette Tremble and the late Nathan Tremble Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mae Smith, all of Brooklet. Miss Tremble is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2008 graduate of Albany State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health and a minor in Special Education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Earl Sr. and Classy Hamer of Gary, Ind., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Betty Lou Smith of Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Hamer is a 2000 graduate of Maynard Evans High School and a 2007 graduate of Albany State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He is currently employed with Target Corporation and Orange County School System.
Ashley and Orrin will marry Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Statesboro.
