Mr. and Mrs. Chandler Dennard of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Dennard of Statesboro, to Jarret Troy Humphries, son of Mike Humphries and Michele Humphries.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Williams of Millen, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dennard of Milledgeville, Georgia, and is the great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.D. Pearson of Warrenton, Georgia. Lauren is a 2013 graduate of Bulloch Academy and is a 2017 graduate of Georgia Southern University.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Roy Chester and the late Janell Chester and Mr. and Mrs. Don Humphries of Sylvania. He is a 2013 graduate of Bulloch Academy and is a 2017 graduate of Georgia Southern University.

The couple is planning to wed on August 25, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at The Barn at Collins Family Farm in Cobbtown, Georgia.
