Georgia Southern students plunge into the 60-degree water during the annual Polar Bear Plunge at the Recreation Activity Center pool. Games, food, the frigid leap, and a dip in the hot tub rounded out the fun Thursday.
The annual Polar Bear Plunge was held Thursday at Georgia Southern University's Recreation Activity Center. Sponsored by Campus Recreation & Intramurals (CRI), the event provides an opportunity for students to brave some icy water, along with the necessary games to keep their blood flowing. Hot chocolate and other refreshments were served, and prizes were given to the brave and, um, true blue, participants.
