A three-goal barrage at the end of the first half proved to be more than enough for a win as Statesboro breezed to a 4-2 victory over Effingham County Tuesday night at Womack Field. The win was a fitting send-off for seniors Trent Doty, Erick Quiterio, Chris Bowens, Kelly Dessommes, Brett Reichard and Jonathan Gary – all of whom were playing their final regular season home game. “I’m very excited for our seniors,” said Statesboro coach Chad Prosser.
