Mr. Roosevelt Timothy “Mobetta” Moore, age 55, peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and a 1989 graduate of Statesboro High School.
Tim was a self-employed carpenter and the owner and operator of Capricorn Construction. He attended Penn State University and the Crane Operating School of Atlanta.
He was a proud member of Pulaski Lodge #319 in Pulaski, Georgia, and a veteran of the United States Army.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Ferlisher (Rich) Moore; his brother, Charles L. Moore; his grandparents, James and Bessie Odom, Leonard and Corine Mainer and Jake Sr. and Louise Rich; his godparents, Nathaniel and Pinkie Mikell; and his mother-in-law, Lisa Smith.
He leaves to remember and cherish his life: his wife, Kendra Wilkerson-Moore; and daughter, Rozie Monroe Moore; three brothers, James E. Moore (Ginger) of Newport News, Va.; Corvin Moore of Statesboro, Ga.; and Billy James Moore II (Fareedah) of Herndon, Va.; three sisters, Glenda Moore Ramsey (David, deceased) of White Plains, Md.; Dea. Billy James Glasper (Robert) of Hopewell, Va.; Opalandria Moore (Kuwana) of Goldsboro, N.C.; and sisters-in-law, Blanche Moore of Statesboro, Ga.; and Shantell Wilson of Duluth, Ga.; four aunts, Dr. Mary Frances Odom-Lee (Lawrence) and Mary Ann Rich, both of Statesboro, Ga.; Lucille Carter (James) of Silver Springs, Md.; and Emma Anderson of Dallas, Texas; one uncle, Jessie Rich (Annie Mae) of Charlotte, N.C.; several nieces and nephews, a host of relatives and friends and since childhood a “ride-or-die” cousin, Orunda Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. until noon at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Chapel, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.
