Elizabeth Wren Goodwin
Elizabeth Wren Goodwin, age 63, of Statesboro, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, surrounded in love by her three children.
    She was born in Augusta, Georgia, to Mr. Jerry Kelley Wren and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Matthews Wren on February 14, 1955.
    Elizabeth attended Westside High School in Augusta and had a long career at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro before retiring in 2018.
    Survivors include her father, Jerry K. Wren of Augusta; her sister, Krista Wren Weigle, and her husband, R. Daniel, of Augusta; her daughter, Jennifer Goodwin Tribble, her husband, Bobby, and their children, Tag and Colt, of Orlando, Fla.; her daughter, Ashley Goodwin Yonce, her husband, Mark, and their children, Matthew and Aaron, of North Augusta; her son, Brad M. Goodwin, his wife, Brie, and their children, Grayson and Anna, of Dunwoody, Ga.; her niece, Alexis Wren; and her nephew, Carlton Wren.
    Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother, J. Kelley Wren Jr.; and her mother, Betty Wren.
    An intimate celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held for close friends at a later date.
    The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days and helped to ensure she was provided the best care available.
