Thanks for coverage of Sylvania Day of Prayer

Editor:
Thanks for the wonderful article in last Saturday's Statesboro Herald covering Sylvania's National Day of Prayer Services held on Thursday, May 5th. You did a great job in your account of both services to the extent that it almost seemed like we were back again sharing in the programs!
The article created much interest because you named so many of the program participants. In fact, parents of the Rev. Pete Wall, who live in Statesboro, excitedly called their son early Saturday morning to see if he had read Saturday's Statesboro Herald. It was great that you mentioned quotes from his very meaningful and profound message, along with other important program items because although both services were very well attended, the exposure in your article greatly multiplied the effect!
I am sure that your ongoing, positive and professional articles have not only prompted a very positive effect on Sylvania and Screven County's image, but have also greatly increased the number of Statesboro papers sold in Sylvania! For example, there were absolutely no Statesboro papers to be found in any of the racks after lunch Saturday!
Thanks again for a job well done! We are most fortunate to have you as our correspondent! Please do not hesitate to call on me at any time I can be of help.
      God bless you!
