Real talk about saving lives

I am again compelled to write a letter to the editor. The Obama regime has begun its all-out assault on the Constitution. Without a Second Amendment we have no Constitution. Despite what many people think the Constitution is not antiquated. The founding fathers were a lot more educated than we are now, as they had just been involved in a war against tyranny. Despite what the Obama administration says the new gun-banning laws are not about saving lives. Of all the new laws proposed none would have prevented the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary.

If we really wanted to save lives we would be talking about the 168 children killed in Pakistan by the Obama Regime (The Telegraph of London).

If we really wanted to save lives we would be talking about the over 300 Mexican citizens killed as a result of the Government's gun-running scheme into Mexico (Fox News, Oct. 1). That scheme also resulted in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

If we really wanted to save lives we would be talking about the 32,000 deaths in motor vehicle accidents every year (National Highway Transportation Safety Agency).

If we really wanted to save lives we would be talking about the 132,000 deaths of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan in 10 years of war (Wired.com).

If we really wanted to save lives we would be talking about the 55 million babies murdered in America since 1973 (Abortiontruths.net). Did you realize that murder was legal?

The new gun-banning laws are not about saving lives. They are designed to take away your rights. Let us have a real discussion on saving lives.
