Recent undercover work by the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team led to the recovery of about $50,000 worth of stolen property.

Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said investigators have been working over the past several weeks, tracking down information about several people involved in selling stolen property in Georgia and Florida.

A CST investigator went undercover and "posed as an individual who was in the business of purchasing stolen property," he said.

Stolen items recovered included a Bobcat T250 "stick steer" and dual-axle trailer stolen from Pensacola, Florida, as well as another trailer with a Yamaha boat motor, the sheriff said.

Three were arrested during the investigation, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a fourth, Anderson said.

Kevin Gaddy, 22, of Cedar Brook Drive in Savannah, is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property and methamphetamine possession. Arch Morgan, 40, of Hopkins Drive in Duluth, Georgia, is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, and William Cherry, 37, of Zipperer Road in Guyton, is also charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property and methamphetamine possession.

Investigators are seeking the fourth man, Dustin Dowd, 27, with a last-known address of Savannah, on a felony theft by receiving stolen property charge.

Anyone with further information about this case or with information on Dowd's whereabouts is asked to contact Bulloch County sheriff's Investigator Jim Riggs at (912) 764-1786 or submit tips anonymously to tips@bullochsheriff.com.
