Coach Mark Fox was hired to be the new Basketball Coach at The University of Georgia almost two years ago, and most Georgia boosters at the hiring said, "Mark Who?" Now, most of the state's basketball fans can tell you who Fox is, and that the up-and-coming Bulldog basketball team is making giant strides in a short period of time.

      Last season the Bulldogs basketball team won 14 games, but more importantly, bought into Fox's offensive and defensive philosophy of how to play the game of basketball. This season the 'Dogs have eclipsed the 14 win mark with several SEC games still to play. There have big wins this season before standing-room only crowds in Athens, and there have also been big wins on the road at some of the most hostile basketball environments in the country.

      The 2010-2011 edition of Georgia Bulldog basketball is learning the most important lesson that Mark Fox can teach them; they are learning how to win. A few more wins, and a decent showing in the SEC tournament and this edition of Bulldogs are headed for March madness. Even the most fervent Bulldog basketball fan didn't expect this.
