Mr. and Mrs. Hobert Engle Evans Jr. announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Molly Anna Evans, to James Fisher Strickland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Burnette Strickland of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Nolan Edge of Dublin, Ga., the late Mr. Bobby Gene McLendon of Soperton, Ga., and Mrs. Carol Evans and the late Hobert Engle Evans Sr. of Dublin. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed at CBRE Inc. in Atlanta, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Joyce Brenda Etheridge and the late Eugene Wendell Etheridge of College Park, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Fisher Strickland of Douglas, Ga. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed at Southwire Company in Carrollton, Ga.
    The wedding is set for April 5, 2014, at Marie Baptist Church, with the reception to follow at the Dublin Country Club.
