Mr. and Mrs. Brian Lanier of Portal announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany D. Lanier, to Morgan T. Jersey, son of Judy Williams of Swainsboro and Brock Jersey of Dearing.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Henry Bolton of Statesboro, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Grice of Portal and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lanier of Statesboro. She is a 2004 honor graduate of Portal High School and is a 2006 honor graduate of East Georgia College. She is currently a student at Georgia Southern University, where she will receive a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Thorne of Leesburg, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jersey of Swainsboro. He is a 2001 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and is a 2005 graduate of East Georgia College. He will be a 2007 graduate from Georgia Southern University, where he will receive a bachelor of science degree in physical education.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 9th, 2007, at Snella’s Place in Statesboro at 7 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
