STATESBORO, Ga. -- Barbara Alieen Waters, age 66, died Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Statesboro.
She was born September 15, 1954, in Ringgold, Georgia, to the late Claudine Meek Gilley and Claude Henry Gilley.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Lee Waters; and her brother, Jerry Gilley.
She moved to Statesboro 32 years ago and worked with R.R. Donnelly in Metter until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and riding four wheelers.
Surviving are her children, Stacy Lamar (George) of Sylvania, Kelly Wilson and Andrew Terrell of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Justin Wilson of Statesboro, McKenzie Triplett of Sylvania, Cameron Wilson of Statesboro, Micah Jones of Augusta, Autumn Terrell of Ellabell and Trenton Screws of Statesboro; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Brenda McDaniel of Zebulon, Georgia; and Judy Ward of Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and service will be held at the residence, 159 Dan Waters Lane, in Statesboro on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
