Margaret Yvonne Wiley, 62, of Sylvania, passed Saturday afternoon, November 10, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family.
    Yvonne was born to the late Cecil Lavon “Bonnie” and Margaret Anita Barrs Graham in Statesboro, Ga. She was reared at the Oliver Saw Mill in Stalco and later Oliver, Ga.
    She was a graduate of the Screven County High School Class of 1974. Upon graduation, she wed her high school sweetheart, Willard C. “Neal” Wiley, and they resided throughout the southeast in Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Alabama and Sherman, Texas. In 1981, they returned to Georgia and in 1996 settled in the Ogeechee community.
    Alongside her husband, they owned and operated Wiley's Electrical Contractors for many years. Afterwards, she became the office manager for Dr. Stephen Chester's practice, Southern Psychological Services, until her retirement.
    As a member of the First Assembly of God, she was active in the children's ministry, the W.E. Ladies Group and had also served as church secretary and pianist.
    She enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking and all facets of gardening, from growing, cooking and canning. But above all, she loved her family, evident in the countless hours of quilting and genealogy that came to fruition to be passed down as stated in Psalms 78:6.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Keil “Sonny” Morton; brother, Cecil Marty Graham; sisters-in-law, Marianne Dent and Diane Onofrio Graham; and brother-in-law, Ronald Wayne Wiley.
    Survivors include her husband, Willard C. “Neal” Wiley; daughters, Bonnie Sharon Wiley and Margaret Erin Wiley, all of Sylvania; a son, Benjamin Neal (Ashley Velez) Wiley of Bluffton; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelly A.) Wiley of Statesboro, Brooklyne Ava Donaldson of Sylvania, Bailey Gail Ryerse of St. Ignace, Mich.; and Kaailyn Velez of Bluffton; brother, Duane Lavon Graham of Statesboro; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Roberta Beasley of Savannah, Russell Earl “Bucky” Dent of Boca Raton, Fla.; Vickie Wiley of Sylvania and Teresa and Bill Ward of Rincon; nieces and nephews, Phil Lavon (Audie) Graham, Leane Marie Graham Hodges, Rusty Beasley, Stacey Scott, Scott (Melissa) Dent, Cody Dent, Caitlyn Dent, Shae Wiley Harrison, Jason Wayne (Cierra) Wiley, Hope (Jack) Keller, Dwayne (Melissa) Ward and Rebecca W. (Michael) Spaceck; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
    Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home, Screven Chapel.
    The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Screven Chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Murray officiating, and assisted by the Rev. John Love. Interment will follow in the Farmdale Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Duane Graham, Edmund Barrs, George Wiley, Brian Barrs, Jason Barrs, Dwayne Ward and Bill Ward.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Carol Wiley and the W.E. Ladies Group of First Assembly of God.
