STATESBORO, Ga. -- Bonnie Deal Lee, age 89, died Saturday, January 26, 2019, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was born August 17, 1929. Bonnie was a homemaker, member of Friendship Baptist Church, Middleground Homemakers Club and the Middleground Coffee Group.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.N. Lee; and her parents, Dewey and Maude Deal.
Surviving are one son, Terry (Mary) Lee of Statesboro; one daughter, Sandi (Stanley) Livingston of Enigma, Ga.; two grandsons, JJ (Bailey) Lee and Terrell Lee, both of Statesboro; four great-grandchildren, CJ, Cooper, Stella and Lilly; two nieces and one nephew.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Will Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Akins, Jeru Minick, Les Spence, Jerry Johnson, Craig Deal and Dale Smith.
