Statesboro’s mayor and council will hold a work session, with presentations by staff members, beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, for review of the proposed city budget for fiscal year 2027.
The work session, in the council chambers at City Hall, 50 East Main St., is open to the public. City officials need to have a council-approved budget in place before the start of the new fiscal year on July 1, but the council will not vote during the work session.
