As the summer heat settles in, Splash in the Boro is ready to offer relief.

The water park, inside Mill Creek Regional Park, kicks off its season at 10 a.m. Saturday. Admission prices are $12 for nonresidents taller than 48 inches and $10 for those shorter than four feet. Bulloch County residents, military personnel, and Georgia Southern University and Ogeechee Technical College students taller than 4 feet will pay $10, while those shorter are charged $8. Children younger than 2 are admitted free.
    Season passes are $60.
After its opening weekend — the park will operate Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. — Splash in the Boro will close through May 25.
Beginning May 26, the park will remain open seven days a week until Aug. 7, a week after Bulloch County schools begin classes Aug. 1.
Once classes begin, the park will continue to operate on weekends until the season ends Labor Day.
