I see where all the ... seniors are complainin' ... about the ran plan which ... doesn't affect anybody ... over 55 years of age. ... But I didn't hear anybody complainin' - any of the seniors complainin' - when Obama took ... $500 billion from Medicare ... in his Obamacare. ... What's with that? ... Wake up, seniors!

I can't believe Deal gave charter schools all that money ... when our children that are maintaining high levels of achievement and ... and high grade points ... and now they're gonna have to suffer for it. That is not right at all. He should be ashamed. So should y'all that take ... take it.

After ridin' through Bulloch County and Screven County, I see more and more of these farmers ... sinkin' giant ... wells into the aquifer ... pumpin' well water that we have to drink ... to water bees. ... When it's gone, it's gone, people! You'll be takin' a bath and drinkin' out the ditch!

Our president s'posed to be for the people of the United States. But what about the senior citizens and the disabled that he wants to cut our pay out? ... ladies, gentlemen, wake up. ... All he cares about is him and his family. Have a ... great day.

Do not believe the White House when they say ... the government will shut down if they don't get the debt ceilin' raised. ... In 2006, President Obama and the Democrats said it was a failure in leadership ... to raise ... the debt ceilin'. ... Now, under his watch, it's totally reversed. You can't have it both ways.

I hope my Social Security check comes out on the third because ... the guv'ment didn't mind takin' that money outta my paycheck when I was workin'. Now, they owe this back to me.

If one had been in a coma ... for three years ... and woke up just in time ... to catch one of Obama's speeches, he or she will think the economy had completely recovered. ... He or she would also think ... that the employment rate ... was holdin' steady at about 5.5 percent ... and that gas ... was $1.83 per gallon,. as it was when Obama was sworn in. ... But, from one who hasn't been in a coma ... I take it for exactly what it is: a bunch of bunk. ... P.S. ... bunk was not the first word that came to mind ... but I wanted my call printed.

The Bulloch County road camp ... build ... shoulder-buildin' job that you're doin' on Isaac Akins Road is ... somewhat questionable. But when your motor-grader people ... plow out holes in the road and don't fix it ... that's a problem.

I bet that if you started castrating people for not paying their child support, that the money would start rollin' in.

The first two entries in Sunday's Soundoff were totally inarticulate and made no sense at all. ... For heaven's sakes, folks, write down what you want to say ... before you call. ... And as far as Soundoff ... why do you print that mess?

I absolutely agree ... with these news channels repeatin' the same things over and over ... and over. Especially channel 11. ... From 4 o'clock in the afternoon 'til 6:30 ... in the afternoons, it's just too much ... of repeatin' the same things over and over. ... It's absolutely ridiculous.

We have a total of 545 people in Washington tryin' to run this country. The president ... congressmen, senators, Supreme Court justices. ... There's 300 million of us out here. ... We're the bosses. We voted them in. They work for us. ... Yet, they have the audacity ... to fix it so they don't receive Social Security as we do. ... They're on an elite retirement plan ... drawin' most of their salary after servin' one term. ... They're on an elite ... health insurance plan. ... They force somethin' down our throat that we don't want for health insurance and Social Security, which they keep tryin' to take away. ... But, yet ... they're on somethin' totally different. ... Not appropriate at all. It's time to vote the whole bunch out.

I took my family to Applebee's last week for dinner... and there was a group of kids in the bar playing on the bar stools. ... I had to spend some time explaining to my kids why they couldn't go play on the bar stools. Then we settled down and enjoyed our meal. ... Then while we were eating, a lady came in and put a baby carrier ... right on the bar ... and the bartender picked up the baby and walked around ... behind the bar, serving customers with a baby in her arms. ... Doesn't Statesboro have some laws about children sitting at bars? ... If not, they need, 'cause it really set a bad example for my kids. ... And what kinda parents do that anyway?

It must really be tough ... for the employees of King Finishing who go to work everyday knowing ... that the people they work for have a total disregard for the environment.

I just read the article about the King America Finishing fish kill ... and I don't normally call, but I am really sick and tired of people putting things in the newspaper. It seems like Ms. Bragg is very biased in her opinion. ... And that this is her opinion and a few citizens who want to get rich with some lawyer who also wants to get rich. ... There is nothing going on. Nothing been done wrong. It has been proven ... and ... I just don't get it why people want to think that they should close somewhere down that employs 450 people who do business in Bulloch County and surrounding counties. ... Maybe we should close down the Statesboro Herald and then Holli will see what it's like. Thank you.

Would the county commissioners or the county manager please explain to the citizens why the three humane enforcement officers can use ... the county vehicles as if they were their own privately-owned vehicles? ... I see them out shopping, eating and joyriding with their family in the county vehicles. ... If an accident happens, is the county going to be responsible for medical costs for their family?

I keep readin' in the newspaper about people complainin' ... they can't get a job. That's bull crap! ... Maybe they can't get the job they want ... or the job they think they deserve. ... The jobs are out there, but you gotta look for 'em. They're not gonna come to you. ... You need to turn off the TV and stop sittin' on the porch or standin' on the street corner ... and ke the effort! ... I'll bet my next paycheck ... that if the government stopped unemployment checks after four weeks, more than half the people gettin' those checks ... will have a job in about six weeks. ... I paid my taxes for nearly 50 years ... and I'm sick and tired of supportin' your lazy butts! I take pride in bein' part of the solution ... not part of the problem.

The contractor in charge ... of the construction on Lakeview ... is doin' a very bo ... bad job ensuring safety. ... This morning I was out ... and there was a backhoe in the middle of the road and I came over a hill ... and nobody was there to tell me ... to slow down and I almost hit it. ... And ... that happened ... somethin' similar happened later today. Somebody needs to do somethin' about that.

It sure would be nice if the Statesboro High School Band would be recognized. They work just as hard as Southeast Bulloch's does.

When I call a store and somebody answers the phone ... and act like ... sounds like they at the house ... at their own house ... that is very unprofessional. You know, it looks bad on teh store when you got people ... usin' slang answerin' the phone. ... They act like they ... doin' somethin' else at the same time instead of answerin' the phone at the very ... and they say hey ... never say where you callin' at. That's really the ... clincher there. That really aggravatin'. ... You act like that at home when ... when you call somebody's house by mistake insterad of callin' the store 'cause they don't even ... announce the store's name. ... It's sad.
