Record-breaking Georgia Southern class starts 2026 fall semester

Georgia Southern is welcoming a projected record-breaking freshman class and returning students for the fall semester.
According to a release from Georgia Southern, the university is estimating an enrollment of more than 33,900 students, which would be an institutional record.
Also, a recordbreaking freshman class of more than 6,500 students is expected.
