Dr. Michael Guido, renowned evangelist from Metter, “is improving” after a recent fall in which he injured his head. Staff at Guido Gardens in Metter say “he is still very weak, but is trying to walk around his home for exercise every day.”
Guido, 93,  is on oxygen daily and is taking breathing treatments for fluid on his lungs that developed while in the hospital. He is expected to return to doctors Thursday for a follow-up regarding the minor head injury that caused internal  bleeding, staff members said.
Guido is best known for his “Seeds from the Sower” ministry that is known worldwide, based in Metter.
His mission is also known for the massive Christmas light display during the month of December at Guido Gardens in Metter.
