Metter police hope citizens can identify a man they said robbed a fast-food restaurant employee at gunpoint. Just after 9 p.m. Monday, "an unknown subject walked into the Subway restaurant on Lewis Street, ordered a sandwich and robbed the clerk at gunpoint," Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said. "The unknown gunman then fled the scene, leaving with an undisclosed amount of currency and the sandwich."
