Local woman arrested after alleged knife attack
Latoya Patrie Darien

Bulloch County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a local woman after a domestic dispute Thursday, according to reports.

Deputies say they were called to the 900 block of Miller Street Extension at 8:46 Thursday night about a possible dispute involving a knife. After arriving, they spoke with a 34-year-old Millen man, Andrea Levelle Young, who was suffering from lacerations to his head, shoulder and hand.

Young told deputies that Latoya Patrie Darien, 27, had stabbed and cut him. Bulloch Emergency Medical Services was called to the scene to treat and transport Young to East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Darien was taken into custody and interviewed, along with other parties who were at the scene at the time of the alleged attack.

Based on the interview and investigation, deputies arrested Darien, charging her with one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
