State Bar congratulates, thanks Bulloch Bar Association

Editor:On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to offer congratulations and thanks to the Bulloch County Bar Association for its successful efforts to promote and educate local students and the public in advance of the recent session of the Court of Appeals of Georgia held in Statesboro.We salute State Bar Board of Governors member Susan W. Cox and all Bulloch County Bar members who participated in sending case briefs and speaking to Statesboro High School and Bulloch Academy students prior to the session, which was attended by approximately 170 students from those schools. The local attorneys are also worthy of commendation for the hospitality shown to Chief Judge Herbert E. Phipps and other members of the 12-judge Court of Appeals, who travel from Atlanta to various locations around the state from time to time to bring the judicial appellate process closer to the people.All Georgia lawyers can be proud of our colleagues from the Bulloch County Bar Association for this demonstration of service to the public, the legal profession and the justice system.
