For the third year in a row, The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Iota Upsilon Chapter, was the front-runner in amount of money donated to Relay For Life of Bulloch County among teams from Georgia Southern University. The chapter, with the help of 46 brothers, raised over $5,600 for the charity and spent 192 total hours of time at Relay For Life.
The fraternity is very proud of the participation in the event and hopes to see this trend continue for years to come.
I am very proud of the participation from the members and the dedication from each person is really an inspiration. I hope that we can keep up this pace and set the example for other Greek organizations.”
The Fraternity plans to participate in Relay For Life next year, as well as other philanthropy events in Bulloch County, in order to continue its tradition of involvement in the local community.
