Editor: I wish to offer a genuine “Thank You” to those that helped us create a successful Dentistry From The Heart event on Friday, December 13. Dentistry from the Heart is worldwide nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those in need.We were able to provide 56 local citizens with free-of-cost emergency and preventive care in an effort to allow a comfortable Christmas holiday. We had volunteers from the dental assisting program at Ogeechee Technical College, pre-dental students at Georgia Southern University and dental hygiene students from Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia.
