In a historic ceremony at the Georgia State Capitol, 90 nurses representing the Georgia Nurse Honor Guard gathered to receive a special Commendation from Gov. Brian Kemp, officially recognizing their service and announcing that Monday, May 12 – the birthday of Florence Nightingale – as Georgia Nurse Honor Guard Day across the state.
