Two popular fund raising events for diabetes research were combined Saturday as the American Diabetes Association's Duck For Diabetes was held in conjunction with the "Step Out: Walk for Diabetes" event.

      Both were held at Mill Creek Park. The ducks were released into the Splash in the Boro water park's Lazy River for a race. Prizes were awarded for the fastest five ducks.

      Also, a Health and Fitness Festival was held at the park as well, which included free blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, fitness information and professional on-site advice.
