Max Greene, a sixth grade student at Southeast Bulloch Middle School last year (2024—2025), placed first in the Archibald Bulloch Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) Historical Essay contest, received a framed certificate for his essay's recent national recognition.

Greene went on to place second in the national contest of the Southeastern district, which includes the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
