4-H to host rabies vaccination clinic

The Bulloch County Extension Service and Bulloch County 4-H will host its annual rabies clinic Saturday. Vaccinations will cost $10 each.

4-H agent Victoria Tilley encourages residents to vaccinate their pets for the animals' safety as well as their own. Rabies has been reported in Bulloch County over the past several years, according to Bulloch County Health Department reports.

The schedule is as follows:

• Middleground Store (Middleground/Metts roads): 8-8:30 a.m.

• Portal High School: 9-9:30 a.m.

• Old Westside School (Westside Road): 9:45-10:15 a.m.

• Nevils Elementary School: 10:35-11:30 a.m.

• Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds: 11:40 a.m.-noon

• Stilson Elementary School: 1:30-2 p.m.

• Brooklet Recreation Department: 2:15-2:40 p.m.

• Julia P. Bryant Elementary School: 3-3:15 p.m.

Times are approximate, and Tilley requests patience as veterinarians work to assist everyone.
