Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Stewart of Statesboro, to Jared Ragan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ragan of Hinesville.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Harry Hutto, the late Lena Belle Hutto, the late Inman Stewart and the late Rita Evans. She is a 2011 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. Amber is currently employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center as a financial specialist.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Carl and Katie Ragan and the late John and Betty Reynolds. He is currently employed at Georgia Chrysler as shop foreman.
    The couple is planning to wed on August 29, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. at the Old Freeman Family Farm.
