Bobby Lamb has been there before, but in 1982 it was in another role. The Furman coach leads the Paladins to Columbia, S.C. Saturday to face the South Carolina Gamecocks. The last time he was there in ’82 he was the freshman backup quarterback to David Charpia at Furman, and he watched from the sideline as the Paladins defeated South Carolina 28-23 in what he calls one of the biggest wins in FU history.
