Georgia Southern baseball player Chase Griffin has been named a First Team Freshman All-American catcher by Perfect Game.
    This is the fourth such honor for Griffin. He previously received the honor from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball.
