Georgia Southern's football program has five camps on the horizon and also will give back to U.S. servicemen and women with a free camp for children of active-duty military members at Fort Stewart.
The Eagles will offer two camps at GSU on June 25 with the Option U Lineman camp. Designed mainly for offensive linemen, the two-day camp is open to all rising ninth-through 12th- graders. A skills camp will follow June 27 and will be a two-day experience designed to teach the option offense.
GSU's coaches will run two camps near the Atlanta area. The first camp is June 23 at Mill Creek High School in Gwinnett. The second camp is June 29 at Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy. Both camps are open to rising 11th- and 12th-graders.
The Fort Stewart camp will be held July 1 and is open to all sons or daughters of active-duty servicemen or women in first through eighth grades.
