Ticket sales for the 43rd Annual Bulloch County Historical Society meeting are available through Wednesday at the front counter of the Statesboro Herald office at 1 Proctor St. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday, June 27 at the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education Center on the Georgia Southern campus. Tickets are $25 and will not be available at the door. In addition to several special presentations, the program will feature the Averitt Stars’ production of “Lord Willin’ and the Creek Don’t Rise,” an original play about Bulloch County history and the early churches of our area.
