Parents invited to school workshop

Bulloch County Schools will host a parent workshop on Wednesday, October 9, from 12:15-1:15 p.m., in the Mattie Lively Elementary School Media Center. 

The topic is “Individualized Education Plans vs. 504 Plans - What's the Difference?” This workshop will help parents put the right pieces in place for their child. Seating space is limited to the first 50 participants, so register your attendance by contacting Sharon Wilkins by email at swilkins@bullochschools.org or call (912) 682-9894.

The guest speaker is Mary Beth Hodgin, a psychological services specialist for Bulloch County Schools. The program is made possible by the school district's Federal Programs Department and its family engagement specialists and the Special Education Department.
