Statesboro Police Arrests     
    Jewel Elizabeth Newkirk, 26, Hershel Drive, Metter  — theft by shoplifting.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests    
    Carlos Montae Howard, 32, U.S. 301 North —  child support lockup (failure to pay child support).
    London Bell, 41, Old Shuman Road — third degree cruelty to children, obstruction, battery ( family violence), driving with a suspended license.
        
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
      Jerry H. Baker, 22, U.S. 80 East, Statesboro —     DUI (.152).
    Michael W. Fountain, 24, North River Street, Claxton — DUI ( refused test).
     Troopers issued 11 traffic violation citations Tuesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Arrests
     None reported.
         
Statesboro Police Incidents    
    GREENWOOD AVENUE — A man said his chimney caught fire. Minimal damage was reported and no one was injured.
    WAL-MART — A woman was observed taking four items of clothing and a pacifier holder and concealing them in her diaper bag, as an attempt to leave without paying.
    In a separate report, a woman called police after her ex-boyfriend pushed her, pulled her hair and yelled at her inside the store.
    STATESBORO TIRE AND BRAKE — A green 1998 Ford Explorer was taken from the business.
     CAMPUS CROSSING — An officer found gang graffiti carved into a wood surface.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents    
    RACCOON KEY DRIVE — (Ellabell) A woman said her ex-husband's wife came into her yard, cursing, and took one of her children.
    KENDRICKS ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman told deputies former tenants took a heater, lamp and hood vent when they vacated her rental property.
    BLACKBIRD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a brown and white Mongoose bicycle.
    SANDY CREEK ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman who called to report her sons were taking things from her home that did not belong to them was arrested herself on an outstanding warrant.
    U.S. 80 EAST — (Statesboro) A woman said her cousin lived with her  two months and did not pay rent, but argued when she asked him to move out,
    PRATHER ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a tree stand.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    Troopers issued six warnings and investigated three crashes with one reported injury Tuesday.
         
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    None reported.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 10 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 14 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three  calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — nine calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — three  calls.
    Brooklet Police Department — one call.
        
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — three calls.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Tuesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — two fire calls and 12 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — three  medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS —  two medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed a call to the Candler County coroner, two calls to Georgia Forestry, a call to Bulloch County First Responders, a call to Emanuel County 911, a call to Tattnall County 911 and a call to Bryan County 911.
