Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said she and her 12-year-old son engaged in a fight with a neighbor.
GATOR ROAD — (Portal) A woman said she and a man argued over household chores.
OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies someone broke a pump on her well.
WILLIAM JAMES MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A juvenile was arrested in connection with the felony theft of a cash box with $800.
U.S. 80 EAST — (Statesboro) Deputies arrested a man for probation warrants after a woman with whom he was arguing called police.
BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a man grabbed her around the neck and choked her.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
Incidents occurring Saturday and Sunday will be published Monday.
BULLOCH COUNTY — During the month of March, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated 67 crashes resulting in 32 injuries, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Lamb.
Post 45 troopers also issued 280 traffic citations that month, including 12 DUI arrests, 138 speeding tickets, 18 seat belt violations and seven child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 398 warnings, he said.
CANDLER COUNTY — During the month of March, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated 11 crashes resulting in one injury, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Lamb.
Post 45 troopers also issued 174 traffic citations that month, including nine DUI arrests, 76 speeding tickets, 14 seat belt violations and five child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 101 warnings, he said.
EVANS COUNTY — During the month of March, Georgia State Patrol troopers from Post 45 in Statesboro investigated four crashes resulting in seven injuries, said Post Commander Sgt. First-Class C. Lamb.
Post 45 troopers also issued 101 traffic citations that month, including four DUI arrests,35 speeding tickets, 13 seat belt violations and two child restraint violation. Troopers also issued 85 warnings, he said.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of March 24-30:

Surrendered by citizens — four dogs and two cats.
Number in litters surrendered — 14 puppies and 11 kittens.

Died at shelter — one cat.
Euthanized — fourteen dogs; two dogs and two cats from adoption floor.
