Statesboro Police Arrests    
    Michael Everett Kent, 19, Gretel's Hunt — DUI, underage possession of alcohol, failure to yield when turning left.
    Romano Tyrone Young, 30, South College Street — battery (family violence).
    William Kyle Boone, 20, Boone's Farm Road, Darien — failure to maintain lane, DUI.
    LaDamien Roaquez Henry, 17, Jet Drive — aggravated assault, possession o f a knife during the commission of a crime.
    Antonio Mendoza, 25, Cindy Lane — battery (family violence).
    Cecilia Garcia-Sanchez, 20, Cindy Lane - simple battery.
    Tidaeiyia Shulay Lewis, 19, West Jones Avenue — trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
    Erica Taneice Butler, 19, Spence Drive, Brooklet — trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Yefri Galicia, 18, Pecan Grove Mobile Home Park, Portal —  operating a vehicle while wearing headphones, no driver's license.
    Gabriel Henderson, 30, Denmark Street — probation violation.
    Antonio Redell Hill, 26, Church Street — probation violation.
    Kenneth Levon Rock, 19, East Lee Street — contempt of court, battery (family violence), probation violation.
    Joseph Thomas McKellar, 23, Bird Road — entering auto.

        Kenneth Ray Keith, 26,  Park Place — DUI and improper use of turn lane.
 
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    CINDY LANE — Alcohol was listed as a factor in a domestic disturbance ending in two arrests.
    WEST INMAN STREET — Someone told police clothing was taken during a forced-entry burglary.
    LESTER ROAD —  A man said two juveniles threatened his juvenile son.
    SOLOMON CIRCLE ¸— A woman showing visible abrasions to her knee, neck, face and other areas told police a man physically attacked her in front of children.
    WOODLANDS APARTMENTS — A suspicious person taken into custody for questioning admitted to police after several attempts that he was only 14.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    OLD RIGGS MILL ROAD — A woman told deputies an Alma Lane woman took a side grinder and box of tools from her tool box. Witnesses told deputies the suspected offender was overheard talking about the items and the suspect's husband said she received permission from the complainant's neighbors to take the grinder. The items were returned.
    OASIS HOME FOR BOYS (Simons Road) — A woman reported an unruly juvenile whom she said left the residence after being caught with cigarettes.
    CODY LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said a man rammed her car with his struck trying to stop her during a domestic disturbance.
    SOUTHEAST BULLOCH HIGH SCHOOL — (Brooklet) A woman said a juvenile yelled threats while she was trying to pick up her children, threatening to "get her and kill her."
    OLD LEEFIELD ROAD — (Leefield/Stilson) Deputies responded to a domestic dispute where the woman said she wanted to leave after 10 years of marriage.
    OGEECHEE DRIVE WEST —(Statesboro) While dealing with a domestic situation, the mother of a female involved in the domestic disturbance arrived and began cursing her son-in-law. Deputies asked her to calm down and return to her vehicle, but she began creaming and cursing louder. She refused once again to obey the deputy and ran at her son-in-law. The deputy grabbed her by the arm and handcuffed her, arresting her for disorderly conduct and obstruction.
    W.C. HODGES ROAD — (Statesboro)  A woman told deputies a Portal man took $200 worth of clothing, infant toys and a box of papers.
    PRINCESS LANE — (Statesboro) Deputies responding to a fight between brothers started to leave after the men told them the dispute was verbal and over, but then one threw a chair and cursed in front of a child, so he was arrested.

Georgia Southern University Incidents
     WATSON HALL   — Someone reported a laptop computer and a watch   taken.
   Officers issued one traffic warning, assisted one sick person and responded to two fire alarms Tuesday.    
    
Animal Shelter Report
    During the week of April 9-15, the Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity:
    Animals in:
    Abandoned at shelter - four dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs, eight cats.
    Litters (total) — 25 puppies, 10 kittens.
    Humane Enforcement (County) — 12 dogs and a cat.
    Statesboro Animal control — three dogs, two cats.
    Miscellaneous calls — one about a hog.
    Animals Out:
    Shelter adoptions — five dogs and a cat.
    Pets & People adoptions — three dogs and a cat.
    Humane Society adoptions — four dogs.
    Returned to owners — one dog.
    Euthanized — seven dogs, 15 cats.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Monday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - nine calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 14 calls.
    University Police Department  — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — no calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — three calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls.
