Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

RUSHING MOBILE HOME PARK – (Statesboro) Someone stole a stove, refrigerators, air conditioner and sink.

BEE BEE ROAD – (Clito) A man and woman were arrested for battery after a domestic dispute.

KEVIN DEAL ROAD – (Statesboro) A man said he caught a man and woman taking scrap metal from property they had no business being on. They claimed they had permission, but he said he did not give them permission and made them put the metal back in the woods.

CIRCLE DRIVE – (Statesboro) A woman accused a man of damaging her shrubs and flowers, although she did not see him do it. He denied doing so, but agreed to a criminal trespass warning and said he would not return to her property.

COUNTRY STORE – (Statesboro) A man caught two juveniles shoplifting snack foods.

G. W. OLIVER ROAD – (Statesboro) Someone stole a four-wheeler.

PIKE ROAD – (Clito) Juveniles struck a home with a stick, causing damage.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports

The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Dec.13-20.

Animals incoming:

     Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas - eight dogs and four cats.

     Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limits – six dogs and four cats.

     Surrendered by citizens - 24 dogs and seven cats.

     Animals outgoing:

     Shelter adoptions – seven dogs.

     Returned to owners - three dogs.

     Died at shelter – two dogs.

     Euthanized from isolation – 18 dogs and 31 cats.

Officer activity:

     Court summons/citations - none.

     Warnings issued - three.

Money collected:

     Adoption, surrender and returned animal fees - 335.
