The Bulloch County Crime Suppression Team arrested a Brooklet woman Tuesday on charges that she was dealing crystal methamphetamine.

Bulloch County sheriff’s Capt. Jason Kearney said Sandra Monique Albaugh, 49, of Highway 46, is charged with trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine) as well as possession and use of drug-related objects.

The CST deputies responded Tuesday to the Highway 46 home, where they spoke with Albaugh and found “probable cause” to search the house, he said. When investigators executed the search warrant, they found “a large trafficking amount of crystal methamphetamine,” also called “ice,” he said.

Further investigation revealed Albaugh had just returned from the Atlanta area, where she purchased the drug, he said.

Albaugh was taken to the Bulloch County Jail, where she remains without bond facing further court appearances, according to jail records.
