Put your own videos up - Here's how:

Have a great video you’d like to share?  Send it in to run on statesboroherald.com.

If you have a video-capable camera and computer to load your files, you’re ready to start.

Your PC should have a program called WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER.  If you don’t have the Movie Maker program installed already, you can download it free by going to www.download.com.  Type WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER in the search window at the top, then enter.  Go down below the window that says “Search Results Matching...” and click WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER 2.  At the right on the same line you’ ll see DOWNLOAD NOW.   Click that and then on SAVE.  Program should download.   Click on the mm20enu.exe icon on your desktop and follow setup procedures.  Click on START (desktop), then click on programs, and Windows Movie Maker icon should be there.  Just click and get started in the movie-making business.

Email Videos to:

myvideos@statesboroherald.com

or drop off a CD with your name and phone number at our office on #1 Proctor Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.

We’ll be giving away $50 cash each week to the best local video according to our judges during the month of September!

Be sure to include your name and phone number with your video.
